I read and reviewed this book almost a year ago. However, I recently got the chance to listen to the audiobook and wanted to update my review.As for the audiobook, I thought both narrators did a great job. I enjoyed their interpretation of the storyline. The story was told from a dual POV so I appreciated that there was both a male and female narrator. Since I am more visual than auditory, the two distinct voices helped me to follow along easier.
As for the storyline, it hooked me in. Ashley and Drake were hot! There were some disturbing/taboo themes. These included kidnapping, best friend's dad, and even somewhat of professor/student themes. Ashley and Drake both suffered major losses followed by a year of heartache. Could their mutual attraction (even with the unconventional way it was made known to them) lead them to healing and a HEA or could it just lead to more heartache? I recommend reading and/or listening to this one to find out.

I thought the story sounded interesting. It might be, I'll never know. I only made it to 9% on my kindle. The formatting was terrible. Paragraphs repeated. Paragraphs not finished. I just couldn't even force myself through it in hopes it would get better.
Wow! Drake and Ashley story so complex. This is a great story to read!! I don't like to give summaries in my reviews but I am happy Drake finds some peace. I love the way JB Duvane writes.
This book was good and I liked the characters of Ashley and Drake. It had some areas in the story that was slow but overall it was good. It was more cute sexy that erotic sexy but in the end it all worked out for the two of them. I have never read JB Duvane book before but I will look for more of this author work.
Surprisingly more depth and character development than what I was expecting. This is an easy and steamy read with a HEA.
I'm on the fence about this book. It was steamy, that is true. The characters were developed, that is also true. But I found it hard to get into the story line. And the turn off part of the book was the kidnapping, which I thought was a little bit darker and freakier than it needed to be. That's just me, however, as some other reader may not be turned off by that. But I DID finish the book, and it has a nice HEA and great sex!
I thought this was a good read and could of been a great read. It definitely needed better proofreading and/or editing. I found the storyline interesting and intriguing but the misspellings and grammatical errors distracted me from the story.

Ashley and Drake are a neat combination Ashley is the same age as is daughter and he is the Dean at the College but he watches at night on the internet a place called the Daddyland and there is Ashley on the camera playing up to the camera and being the naughty girl and she does not know that I am watching her but she will I am going to take her and bring her to my house and keep her tie her up and take her virginity that one thing that she has not give up on camera I am a bad man but I am going to take care of her one way or another oh yeah lol. Good hot and steamy read loved it made me quiver up and down I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. and I loved it can't wait for the next book. Michelle
